Station Chef

JOB OBJECTIVES

Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Duojet Corporation’s Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Food Preparation and Cooking:

    • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and plate presentations.
    • Set up and stock a specific station (e.g., grill, sauté, fry) with all necessary mise en place (ingredients, tools, equipment) for service.
    • Follow proper cooking techniques and portion control guidelines.
    • Monitor food quality during all phases of preparation and service.
  2. Kitchen Operations and Maintenance:

    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the station and all kitchen equipment.
    • Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out).
    • Monitor and record temperatures of food and equipment as required.
    • Communicate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any issues.
  3. Health and Safety:
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Properly handle and store food products to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area to prevent accidents.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Culinary. 
    • Preferably a resident of Lipa City, Batangas or nearby towns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role is often required, but entry-level positions may be available.
  • Culinary Knowledge: A solid understanding of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety principles.
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy pots and pans (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced, hot environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Time Management: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work during busy periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation.

Bartender

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Taking beverage orders and serving them to guests in a timely manner.
  • Possibly and politely check identification of customers, if necessary, to verify they are of legal drinking age.
  • Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
  • Should be fully aware of the bar and lounge menu along with their prices and any applicable taxes.
  • Take guest beverage or food orders and input them to the point-of-sale system.
  • Ensuring that the bar and lounge stations are fully stocked, clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and bar promotions and any special offers.
  • Pick-up food orders from kitchen and communicate to the chef regarding any special preferences or allergy.
  • Responsible in handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.
  • Manages stock levels and makes supplies inventory;
  • Act as an OIC when the F & B Supervisor is not present.
  • Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors/Management.

Housekeeping Team Leader

JOB OBJECTIVES

The Housekeeping Team Leader supervises the daily activities of the Room Attendants and Public Attendants in the Housekeeping department. Housekeeping Team Leader.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the Public Attendant and Room Attendant;
  • Assist to manage all aspects of room arrival to ensure guests amenities are properly set up;
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the guest rooms and public areas of the hotel;
  • Makes sure that all rooms are clean and in tip top condition for both the existing guests and expected arrivals;
  • Understands guests' needs and helps provide them with personalized service and solutions;
  • Ensure guest lost items are secured and policies followed
  • Work with Front Office and Maintenance Department regarding the status of rooms and common areas ensuring that guest requirements are met according to Hotel policy;
  • Assist and inspect all aspects of room arrival to ensure guests amenities are properly set up;
  • Ensures that housekeeping equipment are in place, safely and efficiently working and in sanitary condition;
  • Keeps an eye for basics such as leaking pipes or burned-out light bulbs that need replacing; Promptly informs maintenance aware of any maintenance concern, domestic repairs or replacement needs through the Hotel Manager;
  • Collects, sorts, checks for damages, and makes an inventory of linens for laundry;
  • Maintains organized linen and amenities (bed and bath) inventory and storage; 
  • Promptly responds to the housekeeping needs of guests; 
  • Follows Hotel policies and standards;
  • Reports immediately to Hotel Manager any valuable item, cash, credit card, key, document, etc., found in pockets of soiled personal laundry of guests;
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by Management.

Food Server

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

  • Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks;
  • Promoting and recommending menu options to customers;
  • Should be fully aware of the bar and lounge menu along with their prices and any applicable taxes.
  • Take guest beverage or food orders and input them to the point-of-sale system.
  • Ensuring that the bar and restaurant stations are fully stocked, clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and bar and restaurant promotions and any special offers.
  • Pick-up food orders from kitchen and communicate to the chef regarding any special preferences or allergy.

Room Division Supervisor

JOB OBJECTIVES

To coordinate and oversee effectiveness and efficiency of Front Office Department and Housekeeping Department; to provide services at level best for guests’ satisfaction with an objective to increase the profitability of the hotel. Maximize occupancy and average room rate at all times. Closely coordinate room availability with the Sales Associate, Housekeeping and Engineering. Maintain a good relationship with travel agents and tour operators.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximizes occupancy and average room rate at all times.
  • Closely coordinates room availability with the Sales Team
  • Maintains a good relationship with travel agents and tour operators.
  • Coordinates with General Services and Safety and Housekeeping to ensure that there is a maximum number of rooms available for sales at a given time.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
  • Handles guest complaints professionally.
  • Maintains good relationships with guests and staff.
  • Reviews arrival/departure lists and pre-set the VIP guests with Sales/Hotel Manager;
  • Makes decisions regarding over-booking based on the hotel policies and standards in consultation with the Hotel Manager.
  • Participates in yearly forecasting and budgeting with senior management.
  • Observes and analyzes competitive hotels.
  • Prepares reports as required.
  • Works with Reservations to assist the control of opened and closed dates, availability and condition of rooms and suites, and guest arrival patterns. 
  • Analyzes revenue and expenses results monthly.
  • Ensures daily endorsement log-book is maintained.
  • Inspect vacant rooms to ensure it is within the hotel standard prior to its release.
  • Monitors credit policies and audits daily credit reports on guest rooms where needed.
  • Holds monthly, staff meetings with minutes taken and submitted to concerned persons.
  • Complies with company policies and standards.
  • Familiar and knowledgeable with emergency procedures of the hotel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the management/hotel manager

HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT ROLES

  • Oversee the Public Attendant and Room Attendant;
  • Performs regular inspections of guest rooms and function rooms;
  • Conducts the daily morning briefing of housekeeping staff; 
  • Inspect VC or vacant rooms declared by HK RA and the one to determine if it is within acceptable standard to be placed as VR or vacant ready in the system.
  • In-charge is authorized in the absence of HM to recall VC rooms that need rectification by Maintenance and Housekeeping for re-doing its vacant clean.
  • Review from time to time the consistency of HK OIC on their HK checklist.  If necessary, recall whatever is needed to be recalled on their checklist.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on proper service techniques, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring a positive hotel experience;
  • Endorse Major related concerns in Rooms and Guests (FO and Housekeeping) to the Hotel Manager for immediate action, follow ups, Guest Recovery.
  • Promptly responds to the housekeeping needs of guests; 
  • Reports immediately to Hotel Manager any valuable item, cash, credit card, key, document, etc., found in pockets of soiled personal laundry of guests;
  • Review shifts task of his/her subordinates and remind, guide, assist minor related concerns on reservations, check-ins, check-outs, emails, OTA’s, room blockings, arrivals, departure, VIP arrivals, instructions from Higher Management, abreast on Room promos, packages, PMS system usage – in relation to deposits, cash on hand, events entry among others.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures proper manning and approves daily work schedule of the team.
  • Conducts daily briefing and de-briefing for necessary actions to be taken; resolves issues and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate supervisors and other section heads.
  • Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.
  • Administers personnel action on leaves & overtime requests, disciplinary actions and commendation.
  • Completes the profit and capital expenditure budget effectively and timely.

  • Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Hotel Management or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Front Office experience in a similar capacity preferably in a 5 star class environment.
  • Knowledgeable in Front Office Operations.
  • Have excellent English communication skills both in written and spoken.
  • Possess professional disposition with excellent interpersonal skills.
